International Women’s Day
2023I was invited to collaborate with Print Social to contribute to their series of limited edition t-shirts celebrating International Women’s Day 2023. For the collaboration, I created the t-shirt design pictured here.
The concept behind the design is that women's rights and gender equity holds a unique meaning for each person. But what we can all agree on about International Women's Day is that it's a symbol of our collective "progressing forward" as a society. Hence the feet all moving forward, in the same direction, despite their differences.
The typeface used is also designed by a female-identifying designer.
A core component of Print Social is supporting grassroots movements and charities, so with every t-shirt bought through the platform, 5% of the production costs are donated to organizations supporting and promoting women's rights (like Women's Aid, Young Women’s Trust, and Bloody Good Period).
