Somewhere, somehow, June is already over—so I wanted to share some of my fav items/things from this month!

Chewy - June favorites

Chewy.com

This past month we adopted 2 kittens, so I have spent a lot more than I'd like to admit on pet supplies. I’ve never used Chewy before, but now I understand what the hype is about.

I really enjoy the variety that Chewy has — these were some of my favorite purchases from the past month. The 2-day shipping is so appreciated, as well (since I've already found myself needing emergency pet supplies). Plus, it's nice to be able to support an alternative to Amazon.

Baggu face masks

I love Baggu because of the company's values, which definitely reflect in their products. Since the start of quarantine, it's been a bummer not being able to use my reusable Baggu bags — but I was excited to see that they developed face masks, and I had to get some. These masks are made of super high quality cotton, they're made in the United States (!!), and overall I really enjoy the design of it.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy - June Favorites

Spyro Reignited Trilogy

Nostalgic video games have been a whole mood for me this month, and I've been really enjoying the gameplay of the remastered Spyro trilogy. I’ve been meaning to check out this game for the longest time, and (thanks to quarantine!) I finally got around to it. I played the original three iconic games when I first got into video games as a kid, so it's been surreal - to say the least - seeing the classic maps, characters, and gameplay redesigned nearly two decades later.

The Years that Matter Most: How College Makes or Breaks Us

I've been reading this book for the past month and a half or so. It's a great read on the education system in the United States, the admissions-industrial complex, and how college and equitable higher education is becoming more critical than ever. I've read a few similar books on the subject over the years, but I've been really enjoying this book as it approaches the subject from a national and systemic level - which I think is ever so timely at the current moment.
